This notice describes the reviewed PoseChapter studio at studio.posechapter.com. Browser storage at Stripe checkout and any separate marketing website may differ.
1. Sign-in storage
The studio uses the __Host-studio cookie to keep you signed in securely. It is an encrypted, HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite cookie with a maximum browser lifetime of 30 days when set; it may be renewed while you use the service, and sign-out clears it from that browser. This is used for authentication, not advertising. Blocking it prevents normal sign-in.
2. Photo and currency preferences
The posechapter-currency local storage entry remembers the GBP or USD currency you choose in this browser until you change it or clear site data. It is not used for advertising. The marketing website and studio use separate browser storage; a selected currency can be passed in the studio link so checkout follows your choice.
Local storage entries beginning photo-studio-cloud-preferences: remember your selected mode, backgrounds and other photo-planning choices for your account in that browser. They have no automatic expiry and may remain after signing out. They are not a copy of your cloud photo library. Clear site data in your browser to remove them. Successful account deletion in the current browser also clears its stored planning entry, but does not clear other browsers.
Someone with access to your browser profile may be able to see locally stored preferences. Use a private browsing window or clear site data on a shared device. Removing preferences does not delete cloud photos or credits.
3. Analytics and third parties
When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile checks sign-in requests to reduce automated abuse. It processes browser and connection signals for security, not advertising. See Cloudflare’s privacy information.
The reviewed studio does not include advertising pixels or optional analytics trackers. We will give the required notice and obtain consent before adding storage or tracking that requires it. We do not use a cookie banner to obtain blanket permission for unrelated purposes. Stripe's hosted checkout has its own storage, fraud-prevention and privacy information; visit Stripe's cookie policy.
4. Your controls
Your browser can show, block and remove cookies and local storage for this domain. Clearing essential storage can sign you out or reset planning choices. Optional tracking, if introduced, will have appropriate controls. Contact support if you need help or find storage not described here.
